A screen-free audio player for toddlers and older kids.

The same player, scaled down for on-the-go listening

My daughters received the Yoto Player for Christmas four years ago when they were 2 and 5 and have used it every day since. This magical little cube provides hours of entertainment in the form of stories, audiobooks, and music. It also comes in a Mini version, perfect for home, as well as on-the-go use. We use the Yoto Player for bedtime; my daughters alternate who gets to pick the story from the 1,000-plus available on Yoto’s proprietary cards (we have about a dozen). My girls also love to rock out to music on the make-your-own card that we loaded with their favorite songs (Yoto also sells preloaded music cards). Even the youngest kids can operate the player without any help, and it comes with a jack to connect headphones. Most of all, I appreciate that there is a safe, screen-free way for them to entertain themselves, either alone or with friends.

In April 2024, some Yoto Mini players were recalled due to incidents of the speaker overheating or melting, and customers were advised to contact Yoto for a new charging cable. In December 2024, another recall was issued on Mini players sold between November 2021 and April 2024 due to the same issue; customers can contact Yoto for a free battery-replacement kit.
