The Beautypeak 64″x 21″ Full Length Mirror Arched comes at a reasonable price but with many quality sacrifices: It’s made from ultra-thin, light glass, resulting in a reflection even more warped than the otherwise similar Mercer 41 Dronfield Metal Arch Mirror we recommend above. Like the Dronfield, it can also stand on its own with an easel-like stand. However, the metal felt cheap, and the exposed hinges felt unstable (it also pinched my fingers when I lifted it from beneath).

The CB2 Kalle Wood Wall Mirror is absolutely gorgeous, but when you look at it up-close, some details are frustratingly imperfect. I didn’t like that the Ebern Designs Asymmetrical Wall Mirror’s squared-off bottom disrupts the otherwise-organic shape. In theory, that straight edge makes this mirror suitable to lean against a wall, which I tried but felt nervous leaving it like that (it was so thin and light that I worried the tiniest bump would knock it to the floor). It also has a bit of warping, but you have to stare at yourself for a while before you notice it.

I inspected the IKEA Hovet Mirror in-store in Burbank, California. And I was actually impressed that, despite the low price of this mirror, its reflection wasn’t distorted. It was thick enough to feel secure when leaned against a wall, but it can also be hung. I ultimately chose to test other, more interesting shapes for this round, but if you want something simple and rectangular, the Hovet may be a good choice.

The IKEA Lindbyn Mirror is yet another offering with an extremely reasonable price and a shockingly good reflective quality, and it comes in several shapes and sizes. But the Dronfield mirror we recommend, which is roughly the same price, had the additional option of being freestanding, which we thought made it the better value.

IKEA’s Knapper Floor Mirror is another standalone option with storage. And though it looks okay from the front, it feels and looks cheap from every other angle, with super-thin glass, visible nails at the side, and an unfinished-looking back.
