9 Holiday Gifts We (Already) Bought

I need a gift for a pregnant mom who is having her second child. I’m attending a “sprinkle” and don’t want to get a baby gift, but rather a gift for the mom-to-be. — J.C.

From gifting expert Samantha Schoech:

I think that’s the perfect sentiment, especially since she probably saved a lot of the necessities from baby number one.

We love pampering new moms and moms-to-be and have an entire gift guide devoted to it. Some of my go-to mini luxuries from that guide include this bougie moisturizing stone — it smells divine and leaves skin soft and lustrous — and this set of pouches, which she can use for baby gear if she wants, or for toting her own things.

Because sleep is so very precious for new moms, these gorgeous hand-dyed silk pillowcases would be much appreciated (these solid color ones aren’t as snazzy, but they aren’t as pricey either). The same goes for this comfy padded sleep mask, which could enable her to follow that ubiquitous advice to sleep when the baby sleeps.

When grooming takes a backseat to caring for the new baby, things that make her feel clean, awake, and like herself will be go-tos. This hair towel helps wet hair dry faster and feels like nothing on, so even if she can’t get around to taking it off and brushing her hair anytime soon, it won’t be uncomfortable. Finally, even though it’s not glamorous, micellar water can do wonders for a quick freshen-up when a shower or thorough face-washing is out of the question. To make it more gifty, add some reusable face rounds to go with it.
