Here’s How to Not Mess Up Mounting Your TV on the Wall
Once you’ve mounted the TV on the wall, you should sit where you plan to watch from and see how it looks. Keep in mind that, even if the TV is level, it may not look level to you or other viewers if elements of your room are slanting or aren’t totally flush themselves.

Sometimes you just need to get used to how a wall-mounted TV looks before you do anything, but the best TV wall mounts (and all the models we recommend in our guide) allow for some degree of post-install leveling. That means you can reach behind the TV and use a tool to adjust the mount to raise or lower one side of the TV, which can help a lot if your TV looks out of level by a few degrees.
